The new airport theme
introduces the largest airplane ever into the PLAYMOBIL®-assortment.
The Airliner Jet (3185)
offers room for 7 figures and has a separate luggage compartment.
The roof can easily be taken off to position the
passengers, and there is a separate compartment for
luggage and cargo at the lower backside. With a
wingspan of 52 cm (approximately 20,5 inches), the
plane was
kept just small enough so it would still be comfortable to
play with.

The new Airport with control tower (3186)
comes in System-X design and offers a lot of great
play ideas: A ticket and check-in service area, a
conveyer belt for suitcases, a lift, an outlook
platform for visitors, a security checkpoint and
on top of it all the traffic control tower.
The focus on transport in the latter 2001 novelties
continues with the release of a yellow cab (3199),
the cab driver typically kills his off-time reading the
newspaper.
Two additional service vehicles (3197
& 3212)
provide support for luggage
handling and refueling.
