After a partial update two years ago that
made the farm and country life theme step into the
system-x-era with a new farm, the pony ranch and accessory
sets are up for a full redesign treatment. Even the legendary
Playmobil® Horse - one of the few molds that survived the
last 27 years unchanged - will get a new - more natural - look.
The largest set, the new
"Pony Farm" (3120)
combines the old
"Horse Stable" (3855) and Pony Ranch (3775)
in just one new set. Therefore, it offers many great
little details and features, like a water pump with drinking
reservoir, horse stables, material racks, and a few varieties
of hay and grass.
Another novelty is the "One-Horse Carriage" (3117),
which attracts and carries the tourists and holidaymakers to
the country side.
And finally, there is the new "Harvester" (3929).
This set was already spotted as a pre-release at Idee+Spiel
toy stores in Germany last fall,
and is now an important part of the general March 2001 novelties.
Most of the other new Farm & Country Life sets are updates
of existing products.
