PROMOTIONAL SETS

PLAYMOBIL® occasionally offers companies the chance to buy customized versions of their products for promotional uses, as give-aways in specific marketing actions or to highlight special events.

• In tax-free shops on airports or on certain airlines you could find a special airline crew set with a captain and a stewardess. Up to this point this set was offered on some 7 different airlines as sets 3100-3109. Possibly these sets inspired the development team to create the PLAYMOBIL® airport theme.
  
  
  
  
  

• In 1997 the Karstadt restaurant group in Germany offered free PLAYMOBIL® Gnome figures with their Kids Meals. The 4 different figures were packaged in a red ribbon type of box and fill up item numbers (4950)-(4953)
