SYSTEM-X CONSTRUCTION OF THE MONTH - FEBRUARY 2003:
A LARGE POLICE HEADQUARTERS

Crime is on the rise in PLAYMOBIL®'s city life theme. The growing police force has rapidly outgrown it's new Police Station (3165) building, and a larger headquarters is very much needed. So we took action and created a Large Police Station as the second installment in our 'System-X Construction of the Month' series.

On the ground level of the Police Station, there are public service areas, the main police station lobby, and a small jail with two luxurious cells. An elevator is available at the side of the building.

On the back lot of the police station - directly underneath the heliport platform - there is a parking area to unload crooks and thieves directly into their cells.

On the top level, there are offices for the inspectors and the top brass of the police force.  On the roof of the building stands an extended communications pylon with 4 flood lights and a satellite dish.

The construction borrows parts from nearly every system-x building there is in the city life theme:

Most of the parts for this month's systemx construction came from the new Fire Station (3175) building and two nearly identical Police Station sets (3159 & 3165). The remaining pieces were taken from the Airport Terminal (3186), the discontinued Large City House (3988) and a few of the Add-On building extension & landscape sets that can be ordered through PLAYMOBIL®'s direct service department, or www.playmobil.com.
