SYSTEM-X CONSTRUCTION
OF THE MONTH - FEBRUARY 2003:
A LARGE POLICE HEADQUARTERS

Crime is on the rise in PLAYMOBIL®'s city life theme. The growing police
force has rapidly outgrown it's new Police Station (3165) building,
and a larger headquarters is very much needed. So we took action and
created a Large Police Station as the second installment in our 'System-X
Construction of the Month' series.

|

On the ground level of the Police Station, there are public service areas,
the main police station lobby, and a small jail with two luxurious cells.
An elevator is available at the side of the building.
On the back lot of the police station - directly underneath the heliport
platform - there is a parking area to unload crooks and thieves directly
into their cells. |

|

On the top level, there are offices for the
inspectors and the top brass of the police force. On the roof of the building stands an extended communications pylon with 4
flood lights and a satellite dish.
The construction borrows parts from nearly every system-x building there
is in the city life theme: |

Most of the parts for this month's systemx
construction came from the new
Fire Station (3175)
building and two nearly identical
Police Station sets (3159
& 3165).
The remaining pieces were taken from the Airport Terminal (3186),
the discontinued Large City House (3988) and a few of the Add-On
building extension & landscape sets that can be ordered through PLAYMOBIL®'s direct service
department, or www.playmobil.com. |
